Promises 295-299
295. Promise: God values us greatly and promises to provide for us just as He does for the birds.
“Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?”–(Matthew 6:26)
296. Promise: We are heirs to God’s kingdom, and He promises to give us all that belongs to Him.
“Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.”–(Luke 12:32)
297. Promise: God promises to lift us up and care for us when we humble ourselves and trust Him with our concerns.
“Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.–”(1 Peter 5:6-7)
298. Promise: God promises to refresh and restore us with His abundant blessings.
“You gave abundant showers, O God; You refreshed Your weary inheritance.”–(Psalm 68:9)
299. Promise: God will supply all we need for our righteous endeavors and increase our resources for good works.
“He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.”–(2 Corinthians 9:10)
