Day 4: Let Peace Rule, Not Fear

Day 4: Let Peace Rule, Not Fear

Scripture:

“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” —Colossians 3:15 (NIV)

Quote:

“Whatever rules your heart rules your life—choose peace.”

— Dr. Daniel LeBlanc

Reflection:

Something is always trying to rule your heart. Fear tries. Stress tries. Anxiety tries. But only one force has the right to reign in you—the peace of Christ. You were never created to live under the tyranny of fear and anxiety. Your body, your mind, and your spirit were designed by God to live in homeostasis—a divine balance of peace. When fear tries to rule your heart, it’s not just uncomfortable—it’s unnatural. It violates the way God designed you to function. That’s why, when fear rises, there’s a deeper call from the Spirit of God inside of you: “Let peace.” And notice—God’s Word says “let” peace rule. That means you have a choice. You can choose to let fear and stress dominate you, or you can let peace sit on the throne of your heart.

Today, make the choice Heaven is calling you to make: choose peace. Magnify the promise. Silence the problem. Let peace rule.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, Thank You for Jesus is the Prince of Peace, and I surrender the throne of my heart to You today. Fear will not rule me. Anxiety will not rule me. Confusion will not rule me. I let Your peace call every shot and guide every step. I listen to Your still, strong voice above every storm. Thank You for ruling my heart with Your perfect peace! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
