Promises 381-385
381. Promise: God offers rest and peace, pro- viding His beloved with comfort and renewal.
“For He grants sleep to those He loves.” (Psalm 127:2)
382. Promise: God restores and rebuilds what has been broken, using His people as instruments of restoration.
“Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be
called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.” (Isaiah 58:12)
383. Promise: God gives new strength to those who trust in Him, enabling them to persevere without growing weary.
“Those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31)
384. Promise: God provides for our needs ahead of time, answering even before we ask.
“I will provide for their needs before they call, and I will answer while they are still speaking.” (Isaiah 65:24)
385. Promise: God satisfies our desires with His goodness, renewing us with His blessings.
“The Lord will satisfy your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” (Psalm 103:5)
