Promises 211-216
211. Promise: God’s grace empowers us to live upright and self-controlled lives, resisting sin.
(Titus 2:11-12) – “For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say ‘No’ to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in this present age.”
212. Promise: God provides refuge, protection, and faithfulness as a shield for us.
(Psalm 91:4) – “He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings, you will find refuge His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.”
213. Promise: Belief in Jesus brings us into the light, away from the darkness of sin.
(John 12:46) – “I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.”
214. Promise: God’s love for us in Christ is un-breakable and unshakable.
(Romans 8:38-39) – “For I am sure that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
215. Promise: God delivers us from death and gives us the ability to walk in His light.
(Psalm 56:13) – “For You have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.”
216. Promise: God delights in us and rejoices over us with love and celebration.
(Zephaniah 3:17) – “He will take great delight in you; in His love, He will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”
