Promise 471-475
471. Promise: God promises restoration and peace, leading us to rest and renewing our souls.
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul.” (Psalm 23:1-3)
472. Promise: God promises to be our refuge and shelter, providing safety and protection for His people in times of trouble.
“The Lord will provide shelter for His people and a refuge for His afflicted ones.” (Joel 3:16)
473. Promise: God promises to grant wisdom, understanding, and guidance through His Spirit, empowering us to live in His will.
“The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him—the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and fear of the Lord.” (Isaiah 11:2)
474. Promise: God promises to bless and strengthen those who place their trust and confidence in Him.
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him.” (Jeremiah 17:7)
475. Promise: God promises to provide for the righteous and their children, never allowing them to go without.
“I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.” (Psalm 37:25)
