Promise 261-266
261. Promise: God has chosen and loves His people.
“For we know, brothers and sisters loved by God, that He has chosen you.” –(1 Thessalonians 1:4)
262. Promise: God promises to give us a transformed heart and spirit, making us new.
“And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”–(Ezekiel 36:26)
263. Promise: God promises to adopt us as His children, making us heirs in His kingdom.
“I will be a Father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”– (2 Corinthians 6:18)
264. Promise: Jesus’ sacrifice forgives all our sins and cancels our debts, offering us complete freedom.
“He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; He has taken it away, nailing it to the cross.”– (Colossians 2:13-14)
265. Promise: God purifies us from all sin when we confess and turn to Him.
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to purify us from all unrighteousness.”–(1 John 1:9)
266. Promise: Drawing near to God results in His presence drawing near to us.
“Come near to God and He will come near to you.” – (James 4:8)
